多米尼加裔美国当代女作家茱莉娅·阿尔瓦雷斯的小说《蝴蝶飞舞时》讲述了多米尼加共和国特鲁希略独裁统治时期米拉瓦尔姐妹的故事。本文主要从三个方面阐析作者阿尔瓦雷斯对故土历史的重新想象:糅合历史与小说两种文类叙述米拉瓦尔姐妹的故事;在小说叙事中加入自传色彩,强调个人记忆和言说对于解读历史和化解创伤的意义;从女性历史人物的视角讲述故事,展现主流历史叙事中被消音的她者故事。
Julia Alvarez, a contemporary Dominican American writer, tells The Story of Mirabal Sisters during the dictatorship of Trujillo in the Dominican Republic. This article analyzes the author Alvarez from three aspects of the re-imagination of the history of his homeland: a blend of history and novels two kinds of narrative story of Mirabal sisters; novel narrative added autobiographical color, emphasizing personal memory and speech Interpret history and resolve traumatic significance; tell the story from the perspective of female historical figures and reveal the story of the silenced woman in the mainstream historical narrative.
