氨性底液中钴(Ⅱ)-丁二肟体系[Co(Ⅱ)-DMG]在汞电极上有一灵敏的还原峰.等解释此峰是Co(Ⅱ)和DMG的配合物Co(II)A_2作催化剂的氢催化波.Nurnberg等认为所述实验条件下氢的超电势降低这么多是值得怀疑的.最近Weinzierl等提出此峰是Co~(2+)催化了DMG的还原.这些作者均未对判断机理的重要论据(最终产物和中间产物)进行过研究.我们对此体系[0.1mol·dm~(-3)NH_3/NH_4Cl,1×10~(-4)mol·dm~(-3)DMG,Co(Ⅱ)]在悬汞电极(HMDE)上反应的反应物、中间产物、最终产物、可逆性及动力学参数进行了详细的研究.得出的机理与上述作者提出的不同.
