In terms of market share, although the delivery volume of wide-body passenger aircraft engines is much lower than that of narrow-body passenger aircraft engines, this market has more lucrative profit margins. Aerospatiale consulting firm data show that the value of wide-body passenger aircraft engines account for about 40% to 45% of the market value of the engine. This is because on the one hand the higher price of the engine itself, on the other hand comes from the huge after-sales maintenance market.
