The contents and distribution characteristics of Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Hg in Maweihai seawater, surface sediments and organisms were analyzed. The degree of heavy metal pollution in this area was evaluated by single factor index method and land accumulation index method. The results showed that most of the contents of Pb, Cd and Hg in seawater were in accordance with the first class of seawater quality standard. Cu conformed to the second class standard and Zn exceeded the second class standard, but the content was lower than the fishery water quality standard. In the first class of marine sediment quality, the accumulation index (1geo) of Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd and Hg is small, and the degree of Cd pollution is slightly larger than that of mangrove tidal flat, and the sediment quality is slightly polluted , Which is at a lower level of pollution compared with the domestic and oversea Gulf. The adsorption of heavy metals by different organisms is quite different. The intertidal organisms have significant effect on the enrichment of heavy metals except Pb.
