费大为:中国与日本这两个毗邻的国家在文化上曾经有过十分紧密的联系。近10年来这种文化上的联系正在中、日两国知识界的努力之下逐渐恢复和加强。在艺术领域内,迄今为止我们在中国已经介绍了日本古代和现代艺术的一些情况,比较侧重于19世纪浮世绘版画及传统美人画在近现代的发展成就;也介绍过一些日本著名的当代画家,如平山郁夫、东山魁夷、加山又造等,他们在中国艺术界中已经是人人皆知的了。这些画家的探索是否代表了日本当代艺术的主线和最高水平?对此我深感怀疑。据我所了解的零星情况,日本还存在着另一种完全
Costly: China and Japan, the two neighboring countries, have had very close cultural links. In the past 10 years, this cultural connection is gradually restored and strengthened under the efforts of the intellectual circles of China and Japan. In the field of art, so far we have introduced some of the ancient and modern Japanese art in China, focusing more on the achievements of the 19th-century Ukiyo-e prints and traditional beauty in the modern era. We also introduced some famous Japanese contemporary artists , Such as Pingshan Yafu, Higashiyama Kui Yi, Kagayoshi and others, they are already well known in the Chinese art world. Whether or not these explorations represent the main line and the highest level of Japanese contemporary art is deeply doubtful to me. As far as I know the sporadic situation, there is still another kind of completeness in Japan
