有个单位招聘营销代表,通过笔试、口试、面试等激烈的竞争之后,众多的应聘者被筛选得仅剩下10名佼佼者。这10人还要进行最后一轮的角逐,从中选出两位幸运者来,鹿死谁手,就在这最后的一搏。最后的一道考题,由公司的总经理亲自单个地接见他们,当面出考题决定录用与否。面试者事先已被告知,依次到楼上某号门前等着总经理面试,十分钟后下楼来,不得超时。结果,好几个应试者在那门前久等,无人开门,只得无功而返。也有的应聘者,大着胆子去敲那扇门,而门依然紧闭,还是无人开门,应试规定的时间已过,也只有垂头丧气的离开。只有两个应试者,在敲门无人应,等了好几分钟也无人理睬的情形下,再次先敲门后推门,门竟然开了。总经理及其他考官们正在里面等着他,并告诉他俩已经被录用了的好消息。
