外语教育传统研究是语言教育领域内的一个重要研究方向。本研究致力于研究、挖掘中国华东地区优秀高校外语教师的教学传统。作者认为,“外语教育传统”的内涵就是外语教师长期以来积累的实践方法,在这些实践方法的背后蕴藏着教师的语言观、教育观和人生观。本研究以七项教学指标为分析框架,分析五位优秀教师的教学叙事,从中梳理出具有丰富内涵的外语教育传统思想和实践手段。它们是中国外语教育领域的重要学术财富,对当今外语教育事业具有重要的借鉴意义。
The traditional research of foreign language education is an important research direction in the field of language education. This research is devoted to researching and teaching the teaching tradition of foreign language teachers in excellent universities in East China. The author believes that the connotation of “the tradition of foreign language education” is the practice method that foreign language teachers have accumulated for a long time. Behind these practical methods lies the teachers’ view of language, education and outlook on life. Taking seven teaching indicators as the analytical framework, this study analyzes the teaching narratives of five excellent teachers and sorts out the rich traditional conceptions of foreign language education and practical means. They are important academic wealth in the field of foreign language education in China and have important referential significance to the current foreign language education.
