结合我国水利工程实例，探讨了堆石坝浇筑式沥青混凝土心墙发展趋向，并将浇筑式沥青混凝土心墙与斜墙坝，浇筑式沥青混凝土心墙防渗方案与混凝土面板、粘土心墙防渗方案进行了比较，论述了浇筑式沥青混凝土心墙的优越性以及减薄的可行性。
