虽然《大学英语课程教学要求》中对学生的英译汉能力提出了具体的要求,但由于四六级考试中不考英译汉,再加之课时、教材的限制,以及现今许多教师、尤其是年轻教师在教学中都摒弃了语法翻译法等因素所致,非英语专业的大学生的英译汉水平不尽人意。本文简要分析了导致非英语专业大学生的英译汉水平不高的原因,在此基础上,结合全新版大学英语综合教程第一册第三单元课文A的难句教学,就怎样通过综合英语的课堂教学来有效提高学生的英译汉的能力和水平,提出了一些具体的教学对策。
Although the “College English Curriculum Requirements” put forward specific requirements on the ability of students to translate English into Chinese, but because of the difficulty of examining English into Chinese in the CET exams, plus the limitation of class hours and teaching materials, as well as many teachers today, especially Young teachers in the teaching have abandoned the grammar translation and other factors caused by the non-English majors, the level of English to Chinese translation is not satisfactory. This article briefly analyzes the reasons leading to non-English majors in the level of English to Chinese translation, on this basis, combined with the new version of College English Course Book 1, Unit 3 text A teaching of difficult sentences, how to pass the comprehensive English Classroom teaching can effectively improve students’ ability and level of translating English into Chinese and put forward some specific teaching strategies.
