本文对非英语专业大学生的社会文化能力的调查研究,旨在用实证数据了解目前非英语专业大学生的社会文化能力相比过去是否有所提高,存在的问题及其对策。本文通过对99名非英语专业大学生的语言测试和社会文化测试所获得的成绩和近20年,10年的相关研究结果进行比对。研究发现,除了社会文化能力中的语言行为能力有所提高外,学生的社会文化能力相比以前没有显著改善。在此基础上,笔者从教学大纲、教师自身专业知识的提高、教材内容的选择和编写、学生成绩评价体系几方面探讨了如何提高学生的文化意识及文化能力。
This paper investigates the socio-cultural competence of non-English majors in order to find out whether the socio-cultural abilities of non-English majors have been raised, problems and countermeasures in the past with empirical data. This article compares the results obtained from the language tests and socio-cultural tests of 99 non-English majors with those of the past 20 years and 10 years. The study found that in addition to social and cultural competence in language ability has increased, the students’ social and cultural ability compared to the previous no significant improvement. On this basis, the author discusses how to improve students ’cultural awareness and cultural ability from the aspects of teaching syllabus, the improvement of teachers’ own professional knowledge, the selection and compilation of teaching materials, and the evaluation system of student achievement.
