青光安是以蔗渣为原料提出的胆硷能药物,具有缩瞳及降低眼压作用,可以代替毛果云香硷。作者自1974年11月～1977年6月共观察了用青光安治疗各种类型青光眼205人308只眼,浓度以5%为主,个别病例也试用过10%和2.5%浓度以资比较。一些病人单纯用青光安滴眼就达到降低眼压目的,一些用青光安加内服全身降眼压药物如醋唑磺胺始能达到目的。按眼数统计,绝大多数获得控制眼压的效果。
