I. INTRODUCTION Studies in some of the larger tokamak devices have shown that it is a very competitive method to apply auxiliary heating of tokamak plasma using the out-excited ion Bernstein wave (IBW). However, some basic processes such as excitation and propagation of IBW in the tokamak shape are still subject to further experimental study. We use low-temperature, low-density features of small devices, using high-spatial resolution radio frequency (RF) probes as the primary detection of IBW
