　　I have a party on my birthday. My parents invite my friends to my birthday party. I get many good presents， but some of my friends hide their presents in my house. They ask me， “The present was on the table a moment ago， and① we can’t see it now. Where is it？” I have to guess. If I’m right， they give② me the present. I think the game is interesting. Then we light the candles and sing a “Happy Birthday” song together. I make a wish and then blow out the candles. We eat the birthday cake. It is delicious.

　　每个人都会过生日，但每个人庆祝生日的方式却有所不同。在本文中，小作者为我们简单介绍她的生日聚会。从短短的篇幅中，我们了解到小作者过生日的愉悦心情。文章思路清晰，文字简练，不失为一篇记事佳作。
　　2. 需要修改的地方：
　　① and改为but。上下文是转折关系，所以用“but”；
　　② give改为will give。if引导的主句用一般将来时，从句用一般现在时。

　　按江苏省连云港市中考英语作文满分20分的评分标准，本文修改前可得18分。
