Under the theoretical framework of register theory,we gives functional analysis of tenor of China’s and America’s tourism introductions to find how the official tourism introductions realize interpersonal meaning through linguistic resources,thus achieving the intended communicative effects.The conclusion is that for a genre type like official tourism introduction,a combination of abundant appraisal words,imperatives and interactive Subject person is a good way to realize intended interpersonal and communicative effects.
