使用α-Al2O3与Y2O3为起始原料,以固态反应法合成钇铝石榴石(Y3Al5O12)粉末,并以添加YAG晶种方式,观察晶种效应是否也发生于固态反应中.结果显示,添加晶种可使YAM中间相于较1100℃低的温度生成,YAP中间相则不易观察,YAG相也可由1100℃提前在1000℃出现,而单一纯相的获得,相对于固态反应所需的1600℃高温,于1300℃持温后即可获得.比较YAG的生成活化能,未加入与加入晶种分别为1231及282kJ/mol.
