本文通过对苏州市工业园区的餐饮酒店及相关企业所需要的英语人才状况进行调查分析,得出结论是,目前酒店行业有大量的人才需求,尤其是用人单位最需要员工有流利的英语口语表达能力。因此,高职院校更应建立以就业核心能力为主体的课程体系,强化实践环节,培养高素质的应用型人才。 Based on the investigation and analysis of the English talents needed by the hotel and related enterprises in Suzhou Industrial Park, this article concludes that there is a large demand for talents in the hotel industry at present, especially the employers most need the staff to have the fluent spoken English expression ability. Therefore, the higher vocational colleges should establish the curriculum system which takes the employment core ability as the main body, strengthen the practice link and cultivate the high-quality applied talents.
