在距今三百多年以前,法国著名数学家费马曾经提出一个有趣的问题:在三角形所在平面上,到三角形三个顶点距离之和最小的点在哪里?后人把这个点称为“费马点”。费马点的确定对于交通布局、管道铺设和线路设计等最优化问题有着重要的现实意义。实际上,运用共点力的平衡条件,可以用实验方法轻松确定“费马点”的位置。
More than 300 years ago, Fermat, a famous French mathematician once raised the interesting question: Where is the point where the sum of the distances from the three vertices of the triangle to the point where the triangle is located is the smallest? The posterity calls this point the “Feima point.” The determination of Fermat point has important practical significance for the optimization of traffic layout, pipe laying and circuit design. In fact, using a total balance of conditions, the experimental method can be easily used to determine the location of the “horse point.”
