像“战争与和平”一样,“竞争与和谐”是一对矛盾的概念。但在社会主义市场经济条件下,构建社会主义和谐社会的战略任务,要求我们广大企业既要积极参与市场竞争,又要努力促进社会和谐。这种“两难”要求引起了国内许多企业家、专家学者和新闻媒体的关注,大家不约而同地从实践和理论层面进行了探讨,提出了“和谐竞争”的理念。我们认为,这个命题是有普遍意义的,它不仅在理论上成立,而且在实践中也是可行的。因为只有以和谐指导竞争,以竞争促进和谐,竞争才能保持正确方向,和谐才能充满活力。
Like “war and peace,” “competition and harmony” is a contradictory concept. However, under the socialist market economy, the strategic task of building a socialist harmonious society requires that a large number of enterprises should not only actively participate in market competition but also strive to promote social harmony. Such “dilemma” demands have aroused the attention of many entrepreneurs, experts, scholars and news media in the country. All of them invariably discussed from the practical and theoretical aspects and put forward the concept of “harmonious competition.” In our opinion, this proposition has universal meaning. It is not only theoretically established, but also feasible in practice. Only if harmony is to guide competition and competition can promote harmony can competition be maintained in the right direction, harmony can be full of vigor.
