财富全球论坛(Fortune Global Forum)不仅是一个媒体事件,更是一个自上世纪末以来形成的重要的媒体外交活动。本文将通过财富全球论坛这一案例分析,对媒体外交的定义、传播情景以及传播模型进行新的思考。不同于以往的研究把媒体更多地看成是一种外交的工具,本文认为我们应该更多地意识到媒体和记者本身在国际传播中所处的情境以及他们所承担的多元化角色。
The Fortune Global Forum is not only a media event but also an important media diplomacy that has taken shape since the end of the last century. Through the case study of Fortune Global Forum, this article will give new consideration to the definition of media diplomacy, communication scenarios and communication models. Different from the previous studies, the media is more regarded as a tool of diplomacy. This paper argues that we should be more aware of the media and journalists themselves in the context of international communications and their diverse roles.
