美《纽约时报》1979年12月30日报道纽约消息:几年前在英国谢菲尔德的儿童医院,一名儿童的一个指尖割掉。医生只包扎了伤口,并准备将此儿童转至整形外科治疗。但由于工作上的错误忘掉此事,数日中医生也未再检查。最后将敷料取下时,发现指尖巳开始生长。以后一位医生在一种医学杂志上报道说:“最后指尖完全再长出”。现在对许多类似的指尖截断,用上述方式治疗。有一些文献报道的病例指尖再长出,连带指甲、知觉、甚至指纹都完全恢复。
New York Times, December 30, 1979 NEW YORK: A finger of a child was cut off a few years ago at the Children’s Hospital in Sheffield, England. The doctor only bandaged the wound and was ready to transfer the child to plastic surgery. However, due to work mistakes forgotten, several days of Chinese doctors have not checked. Finally, remove the dressing, we found that fingertips have begun to grow. Later, a doctor reported in a medical magazine: “The last fingertips completely grow out.” Now cut off a lot of similar fingertips, treated in the above manner. Some cases reported in the literature, finger tips and then grow, with nails, awareness, and even fingerprints are fully restored.
