唐代的银高足杯是一种形制特殊的器物。它分为上下两部分,上部为杯体,用来盛装液体;下部是器足,具有放置和使用时手执的功用。高足杯的杯身横剖面为圆形或多曲圆形,腹深大于口径,或小于口径,底部呈圆形,下接高足。高足的顶部很细,部分带有一个圆饼状的托盘,高足中部一般有一个算盘珠式的节,下部向外撇。这种高足杯唐以前极少,唐以后亦不流行。1964年报道的西安沙坡村唐代银器窖藏中出土了银高足杯~([1]),当时并未引起人们的注意。70年代初,西安南郊何家村窖藏中再次出土这种器物~([2]),才有学者对银高足杯作了一些说
The Tang Dynasty silver tall cup is a special form of artifacts.
