美国陆地资源卫星和法国斯波特资源卫星现正高效益地用于勘测和研究地球资源。它们利用可见光和红外遥感器获取地物目标辐射和反射的多个波段的电磁波信息,然后将这些信息发送给地面接收站。地面接收站根据事先掌握的各类物质的波谱特性,处理和判读这些信息,从而得到各类资源的特征、分布和状态等资料。地球资源卫星能迅速、全面和经济地提供有关地球资源的情况,对于资源开发和发展国民经济有重要作用。不过,美国和法国的资源卫星存在一些先天不足,比如,不能在云、雨、雷、雾等恶劣
The United States Landsat and the French Spots Resource Satellite are now being used efficiently for the purpose of surveying and studying the Earth’s resources. They use visible and infrared remote sensors to acquire the electromagnetic wave information of multiple wavelengths radiated and reflected by the ground object and then send the information to the ground receiving station. The ground receiving stations process and interpret the information according to the spectral characteristics of various substances previously obtained to obtain the characteristics, distribution and status of all kinds of resources. Earth resources satellites can provide information on the Earth’s resources quickly, comprehensively and economically, and play an important role in resource development and the development of the national economy. However, there are some inherent deficiencies in the resource satellites in the United States and France. For example, they can not be used in bad weather such as clouds, rain, thunder and fog
