Neocarzinostatin(NCS)是日本的Ishida等在1957~1964年分离出来和提纯的。这是一种大分子抗菌素,是由109个氨基酸组成的单链酸性多肽,分子量为9400。在动物实验中,NCS对艾氏腹水癌、肉瘤180、SN36、AH13、MH134、L1210都有抗癌作用,对后者的效果尤为显著。其作用机理是阻断丝状分裂,抑制DNA的合成以及使已合成的DNA降解。静脉注入兔体后,此抗菌素在皮肤、胃、肺、胰腺中的浓度很高,故曾被用于治疗这些脏器的实体
Neocarzinostatin (NCS) was isolated from Japan in 1957-1964 by Ishida et al. And purified. This is a macromolecule antibiotic, a single-chain acidic polypeptide consisting of 109 amino acids with a molecular weight of 9,400. In animal experiments, NCS on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma, sarcoma 180, SN36, AH13, MH134, L1210 have anti-cancer effect, the effect is particularly significant for the latter. Its mechanism of action is to block filamentous fission, inhibit the synthesis of DNA, and degrade the synthesized DNA. After intravenous injection into rabbits, this antibiotic has a high concentration in the skin, stomach, lung and pancreas and has therefore been used to treat the entities of these organs
