In the Moine Series by Loch Monar in northern Scotland, complex and superimposed fold structures are developed. Due to the long-term erosion of the lake, the formation of a unique natural polished surface, good outcrops are rare in the world. But also because of outcrop and cut in different directions fold profile, so that outcrops gorgeous. Understanding of the superimposed folds in the metamorphic rocks in this area is quite enlightening on the study of the structure of the metamorphic rocks, especially the metamorphic striped iron ore zones. In this paper, only a few typical phenomena of superimposed folds are recommended to the readers. The following is a brief introduction: The Precambrian Mo Yan series along the banks of Lake Mona are mainly metamorphic sandy and argillaceous rocks. Quartz schists and bands Like granulite-based. Due to the different shale content, some bands are rich in dark-colored minerals (dominated by biotite) and dark in color.
