Objective To clarify thedynamiccorrelation betweenhepatitis B virus (HBV) replicationandheme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) expression.Methods Thelevels of HBVreplicationand HO-1 expression of HepG2.2.15 cells wereinvestigated after exposureto5-50 μMhemin for 1-6 days.HO-1expression levelswere detected with reversetranscription PCR method.HBV replication levels weredetermined by enzyme-immunoassay and PCR-fluorescence quantitation assay.
