脊髓损伤(spinal cord injury,SCI)是一种严重威胁人类健康及生存质量的疾病,并且主要发病人群为青壮年,目前尚无确切的治疗方法。利用骨髓基质干细胞移植(mesenchymal stem cells,MSCs)治疗SCI已日渐成熟,动物实验证明通过MSCs的移植治疗SCI后病灶囊腔缩小,感觉及运动功能均有较大的改善,但其具体的作用机制还处于探索阶段。胶质细胞也称神经胶质,是除了神经元以外广泛分布于中枢神经系统内的重要组成部分,参与神经系统的修复和再生等作用,神经轴突再生过程必须有胶质细胞的引导才能成功。在正常脊髓组织中,星型胶质细胞、少突胶质细胞和小胶质细胞三者均扮有各自重要的角色,在SCI后,胶质细胞会发生一系列的变化应对损伤,在不同时期会有不同的转变,具有不同作用。本文对MSCs移植治疗SCI后不同胶质细胞变化情况进行综述,希望提供针对性治疗SCI的有意义线索。
