The basic attitudes, which are held by the curers in the process of the treatment of the sandplay therapy, mainly include the silent witness attitude, the mutual understanding attitude as well as the maternal principle attitude.These basic attitudes create a free but protective space for the visitors, for the purpose of ensuring the effect of the treatment of the sandplay therapy to exert a very important role.At the present time, there are a great number of the problems in the mental health education of the elementary and secondary schools of China.For example, the mental health education of the elementary and secondary schools suffers from the limitations in the personnel, has been added with too much medical knowledge as well as too much ideological and political knowledge, and also is seriously in shortage of the spirit of humanism.Therefore, in accordance with these several problems in the mental health education of the elementary and secondary schools of China, the authors make a detailed analysis on the applicability of the basic attitudes towards sandplay therapy to the mental health education of the elementary and secondary schools in this paper.
