In this talk, several structures for angle robust color filtering are proposed.Multilayer resonant filters in transmission and reflection are presented and verified by theoretical calculations and experiment results.The introduction of the amorphous silicon greatly reduces the angular sensitivity of the filters.Ultrathin metal patch array are proposed to achieve the angle insensitive color filtering for a broad range of incidence angles up to 60° at the unpolarized illuminations,which is attributed to the localized surface plasmonic resonance of each metal patch.
