The African continent has experienced major setbacks on the infrastructural development in the longest time and as a result the African governments have had no choice but welcome foreign investments on this sector.China being a rising superpower,a long time ally and significant partner for decades has experienced a warm welcome which has made it easy for her to be involved and invest in the Africas infrastructural sector.Apart from having a strong friendship and a continuous growing relationship with Africa,China has been exposed to various ongoing disputable discussions questioning her motives towards the continent. On one side theres favor of the Sino-African relations noting that the relations have brought a lot of positive effects while the other side displays nothing but negative effects.Critics have made sure to air their voices and critical viewpoints and at the same time myths and stories that do not match up with the reality have taken over headlines. Some have suggested that the extraordinary foundation of infrastructure like airports, railways, highways and bridges set by China is to allow these countries have necessary structures to become prosperous but still the inquiries remain on what China looks for in return despite everything. In spite the fact that China presently appears to fill the superpower hole in Africa making it to ascend as a"neo colonial"power in the continent in search of raw materials and exploiting new markets to boost its developing economy,a good explanation will be that China is not a colonial power in the strictest understanding of the term in light of the fact that there are no African nations legitimately controlled from Beijing by Chinese bureaucrats with foreign and defense policy linked to China. This study expects to provide a critical understanding of the relationship and role of China in Africa by acknowledging the shared advantages or mutual benefits within this relationship and the win-win situation. It aims to gain familiarity on the role of China to Africa especially on infrastructural development and therefore gain a deeper understanding about the topic and additionally it will assist with giving an insight and a comprehension on the most proficient method of how to see these relations simply as mutual and that Chinas commitment to Africa has nothing to do with neo colonialism except only or rather to simply encourage and facilitate Africas independency from the west and also to promote a creation of a new world order in Africa based on win-win and equal sovereignty.
