According to the French magazine Aeronautics and Université, July 8 to 14, the U.S. privately owned Alfa Lila Communications Company (formerly Pan-American Satellite Company) was originally scheduled to sign a contract with China Great Wall Company in August for launching with the Long March (LM) rocket Three PAS-2-4 communications satellites failed to sign the U.S. government opposition. The U.S. government excused China’s sale of M11 missiles to Pakistan and Syria. Great Wall is now seeking the launch of the following satellites, one of Inmarsat-3 and one of the additional two of Internat Satellite-7. The Soviet Union is also applying to these two types of satellites for launching. Other satellites are the Thai satellite manufactured by Hughes (the first one)
