The post-modernist trend of thought that rose after the Second World War swept the West and even the whole world and caused a strong impact on modern civilization. At the end of the 1960s, under the guidance of Hayden White, postmodernism began to enter the field of history through the historical philosophy of narratism, and began to penetrate the historiography theory, gradually affecting specific historical research practices.
