资兴市是湖南省重点林区县市之一,林业历来是资兴一大资源优势和支柱产业,1993年林业总产值1.5亿元,占全市农业总产值的45.5%。在改革开放大潮的推动下,以森林资源为依托的乡、村竹木加工有了长足的进步,并已成为发展乡村企业,开发经济和脱贫致富奔小康的主要路子。近几年来,资兴市为培育大径良材,展开了高标准的中幼龄林抚育间伐,使乡、村林产加工展现了广阔的前景。但是,最近由市委、市政府组织有关人员对全市14个乡(镇),65个竹木加工单位的调查,结果表明,作为乡村主要企业的竹木加工厂,其资源利用低,加 Zixing City is one of the key forest regions and counties in Hunan Province. Forestry has always been Zixing’s major resource advantage and pillar industry. In 1993, the forestry output value was 150 million yuan, accounting for 45.5% of the city’s total agricultural output value. Driven by the trend of reform and opening up, bamboo and wood processing based on forest resources has made considerable progress in rural areas and villages, and has become a major way to develop rural enterprises, develop the economy, and promote poverty and prosperity. In recent years, in order to cultivate large-diameter and good-quality timber, Zixing City has started high-standard thinning of middle-aged and young-aged forests, so that the township and village forest production and processing have shown broad prospects. However, recently, the municipal party committee and the municipal government organized relevant personnel to investigate the city’s 14 townships (towns) and 65 bamboo and wood processing units. The results show that the bamboo and wood processing plants, which are the main rural enterprises, have low resource utilization.
