Objective To understand the death toll of Wanzhou population from 2004 to 2007. Methods The death cases were collected by the national unified retrospective survey and the general population-based general population death reporting system at national disease surveillance sites and were coded according to ICD-10. Using the population in this area and the whole country in 2000, the population of each age group and the crude fatality rate Standardized mortality. Results The average death rate of the whole population in Wanzhou District was 608.55 / 100,000, with a standardized mortality rate of 454.69 / 100,000; the death rate of males was 700.35 / 100,000 and the death rate of females was 512.08 / 100,000; the urban population mortality rate was 536.71 / 100,000; rural population The death rate was 635.27 / 100 000, the death rate of cancer in rural areas was 158.13 / 100,000, which was significantly lower than that of urban areas (172.24 / 100000), and that of rural endocrine and metabolic diseases (2.85 / 100000) was significantly lower than that of urban areas (11.90 / 100000) ; The top 5 causes of death among men, women and urban and rural areas were in line with the overall cause of death, followed by circulating diseases, cancer, respiratory diseases, injury and poisoning, digestive diseases and infectious diseases, ranking the 6th among all districts and rural areas; 4 The year-on-year increase was mainly caused by tumor, endocrine and metabolic diseases, with respiratory diseases, infectious diseases and parasitic diseases which showed a decreasing trend. The death of 0-year-old neonatorum was the main cause of death and the highest death rate was 1-39 years old , 40 to 69 years old to the highest tumor death, the highest death after the age of 70 to the circulatory system disease. Conclusion Currently, Wanzhou District is faced with the dual pressures of chronic diseases such as cancer and endocrine and metabolic diseases rising year by year and the highest death toll from infectious diseases. Relevant departments should pay close attention to it and take corresponding measures to carry out prevention and control work.
