我6岁上小学,当时我们家有兄妹四人,做小本生意的父亲让孩子们每天练字,希望日后能出人头地。四兄妹一起写字,我较有兴趣,得到的奖品最多。后来父亲干脆给我准备一块大方砖,让我可以无数次用笔蘸清水书写,我的涂鸦生涯就这样开始了。小学时,我一直在演出队唱歌跳舞,写的字画的画也常常上墙报,得到老师们的夸奖。老师当时对我的评价是:这孩子模仿力强、有艺术天分。我上初中后,经家乡擅长书法篆刻的郭一郎先生举荐,跟从了诏安一中书画名家沈吉文老师学习书法。幸运的是,半年后我就荣获福建省中学生书 I was 6 years old in primary school.
