农作物品种资源是进行作物育种和一切生物科学研究的基础。本文结合辽宁省品种资源工作现状，阐述了品种资源在作物育种中的重要性和工作内涵，提出了辽宁省“九五”品种资源工作目标和工作建议。
Crop variety resources are the basis for crop breeding and all biological science research. Based on the present situation of variety resources in Liaoning province, this paper expounds the importance and the connotation of variety resources in crop breeding, and puts forward the working objectives and work suggestions of “Nine Five” variety resources in Liaoning Province.
