“Korven Gesture” is an important part of Kodaly’s musical pedagogy, pioneered by John Colvin in the 1870s. Seven different gestures use different levels to represent seven different rakings. It is a form of body language for adjusting the pitch between teachers and students. The cultivation of student singing interest, the development of good singing habits and the establishment of the concept of exact pitch are mainly primary school stages. In the music class, I tried to introduce this gesture into the singing teaching of primary school music. I used the gestures to give out silent instructions so that students could understand the exact position of the pitch and used Coleman gestures to practice pitch and harmony. The inner auditory training , Part 2 chorus training to enable students to sing happily and purposely under the direction of Colvin Gesture and improve their singing skills.
