Based on the theory of internalization in the socio-cultural theory and the theory of recent district development, this article explores the impact of English and Chinese teacher cooperation teaching models on teachers’ own development. Since the teaching reform of English majors in China, the model of cooperative teaching between Chinese and foreign teachers has increasingly attracted the attention of English teachers. Cooperative teaching was proposed by William M. Alexander, father of American Middle School (Xiehua, 2013). It is divided into six guiding modes: one teaching, another observation; one teaching, another inspection; site teaching, parallel Teaching; Alternate Teaching; Group Teaching
