中国汉字延续至今已有上千年的历史,经历了岁月的磨练,它已具有了独特的视觉魅力和情感信息。在平面设计中,设计者则利用汉字平面构成的法则,使之图形化,并利用汉字视觉形式的不同来传达设计过程中的情感信息,使平面设计作品更具有感染力和表现力。这种将“读”转化为“看”的方式叫做汉字的图形化,其目的在于将文字语言转换成视觉图形语言。它是以传统汉字为基础,将汉字原有的形态按照一定的设计法则分散并进行重新组合,使汉字赋予新的设计意味。汉字的图形化不分地域和文化背景的限制,可以在最大程度上发挥文字的传递信息的最佳作用。
Chinese characters have been extended to thousands of years of history, after years of experience, it has a unique visual appeal and emotional information. In graphic design, designers make use of the rules of Chinese character plane to make them graphically, and make use of the different visual forms of Chinese characters to convey the emotional information in the design process, making the graphic design works more contagious and expressive. This method of converting “reading ” into “looking ” is called Chinese characterization, and its purpose is to convert the text language into a visual language. It is based on traditional Chinese characters, the original form of Chinese characters in accordance with certain design rules scattered and re-assembled, so that Chinese characters to give a new design means. The characterization of Chinese characters, regardless of geographical and cultural backgrounds, can give full play to the best role of text in conveying information.
