“虎”字成语在动物成语里颇有代表性,体现了汉民族认识世界的独特思维模式。成语隐喻意义的形成或是为了说明一个抽象的道理,或是借由“虎”的形象来形容某个人或某件事。成语表达简练,意义相对稳定,在漫长的历史变迁中,大部分都变化不大。多个成语表示同一或相似的概念的现象却很明显。“虎”字成语表明,人类之所以会用不同的成语表达相同的概念是隐喻作用的结果。而之所以产生隐喻正是因为人类认知世界的范畴化方式,能够使人类发现不同范畴事物间的相似性。
The idioms of the tiger are rather representative in the animal idioms, which reflect the unique thinking mode of the Han people to know the world. The formation of an idiom metaphorical meaning either to illustrate an abstract truth, or by “tiger” image to describe a person or something. Idioms express concise, the meaning is relatively stable, in the long historical changes, most of them have changed little. The phenomenon of multiple idioms indicating the same or similar concepts is obvious. The idioms “ti ” indicate that the reason why human beings use different idioms to express the same concept is the result of the metaphorical effect. The reason why the metaphor is generated is because of the categorization of the human cognitive world, which enables humans to find similarities between different categories of things.
