《英语课程标准》强调:“要使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度,主动思维和大胆实践,提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。”新课程标准把情感作为教学内容与目标,就是强调在英语教学中尊重、理解学生和进行品质的培养;强调利用积极情感因素,培养学生的学习兴趣,增强学习动机、调整学习态度、树立自信心、锻炼意志力;强调通过情感教育来实现师生在教学中情感互动并和谐发展。可见,保护和利用学生积极的情感因素,对于提高英语课堂教学效率
