睡觉是一件人生大事——人生有三分之一的时间是睡过去的哦。如果睡不好,一整天无精打采,生活、学习都会受到影响。那么,我们怎样描述睡眠的好坏呢?
He is sleeping poorly. 他睡不好。
He has difficulty in sleeping, inability to concentrate. 他不易入睡,也难集中精神。
It is usually hard for her to fall asleep when she goes to bed at night. 她晚上睡觉时很难睡着。
He wakes during the night or early morning and finds it
difficult to fall asleep again. 他晚间或清早醒来后,很难再次入睡。
He has nightmares occasionally. 他有时会做噩梦。
A: Did you sleep well? 睡得好吗?
B: Yes, I slept very well. 嗯,睡得挺好。/No, I couldn’t fall asleep. 不,几乎没睡着。
Did you stay up late last night? / Did you go to bed late last night? 昨晚你熬夜了?
You were snoring last night./ You were sawing logs last night. (saw logs原意为“锯木头”,在此表示“打呼噜”。) 昨晚你打呼噜了。
You left the light on. 你一直没关灯。
You forgot to turn off the light. 你忘了关灯了。
Did I keep you up? 影响你睡觉了吗?
I had a nightmare. 我做了个恶梦。
I have a hangover. 我仍宿醉未醒。
