The 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Mining and Quarries will be held from 3rd to 6th December, 2014, in Casablanca of Morocco.
The event was organized by the magazine "Energy and Mines" and the company RPI, benefits from the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Public Works. The main objective of SIMC is to gather actors of the mining industry from North Africa and countries of West Africa and countries of West Africa SubSaharan. The conference&exhibition 2014 is expected to receive exhibitors and trade visitors from Morocco, France, Spain, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, and Turkey, Mari, Sudan, and Central Africa. The exhibit will also cover a more comprehensive range of mechanics, engineering, and vehicles. The mining industry accounts for an important part of the Moroccan industry, with 40 workers and annual output of 25,000 tons. Taking 2004 as an example, the turnover of 2.21 billion US dollars, attracted foreign investments of 3,866 million US dollars. The output value accounted for 6% of the total national output, and 20% of the total export income. Morocco is in North Africa, with a total population of 30 million. The country is now promoting company privatization and free trade, which has stimulated the fast growing of domestic economy. In recent years, the country has increased the input into infrastructure,and there are major construction being launched every year. SIMC 2013 received 3,600 trade visitors, and a total of 350 exhibitors covered an exhibition floor of 15,00 square meters.
