中国早期的绘画不讲求细节上的一些透视,主要讲求对于精神的追求;不去强调外表的光鲜与亮丽,对于作者个人的主观情感的表达会更多一些。这就是中国画的内涵表现的要求,即“以形写神”的思想比较深厚。有一句对于中国画的描述:中国画不是一种行为艺术的表现,而是一种表现艺术的行为。从顾恺之的《女史箴图》的艺术形态来看,他的作品对于中国早期的卷轴绘画有很大的研究意义。
