Recently, endoscopic pH measurements were used to assess acidogenic function at the gastric and antrum boundaries and local pH measurements after complete excision of the vagus nerve. However, the current probe for endoscopic pH measurement often fails because of its fragility that does not meet the needs of researchers. The authors developed a new endoscopic pH measurement probe, pH electrode made of 1 mm diameter copper wire fused to thin antimony metal.
