“完壁归赵”是个著名的历史故事。相传春秋战国时期,有个楚人名叫卞和,很善于识宝,有一次他在山上发现了一块含有宝玉的璞石,就先后把它献给了楚厉王和楚武王。由于这两个诸候王不分真伪、不辨良莠,硬说那是块石头,均以“欺君”之罪名,砍去了卞和的左右脚。楚文王即位后,卞和仍不灰心,又抱着这块璞石在荆山脚下痛哭。文王听说,派人问他;“是不是为你的不幸遭遇而难过?”卞和回答说:“我本身的遭迂算不了什么,我感到悲伤的是这么好的一块美玉竟然不为世人所识！”文王听说后,就派人加工雕塑,果然得到了一块举世无双、价值连城的宝玉。后人就把这块宝玉叫做“和氏璧”。 “End wall return to Zhao” is a famous historical story.
