鸭茅(Dactylis glomerata)是贵州草地生态畜牧业发展中的重要草种之一,需要量较大,因此选育优质高产鸭茅新品种是贵州鸭茅育种的重要目标。“黔草4号鸭茅”是贵州省草业研究所以地方草种“纳雍鸭茅”为亲本,采用“一次混合选择法”选育而成的牧草新品种,2009年经贵州省农作物品种审定委员会审定为牧草系选品种,编号为“黔审草2009001号”。该品种在2006-2008年贵州省鸭茅品种(系)区域试验中,平均鲜草产量位列参试品种(系)之首,达63 091.5 kg/hm2,分别比对照原始群体(51 040.51 kg/hm2)和宝兴鸭茅(54 695.67 kg/hm2)增产23.6%和15.35%,达极显著水平(P<0.01);粗蛋白和粗脂肪含量明显高于对照,分别为15.78%和5.83%;生长较快,平均生长速度为2.77 cm/d,明显快于对照原始群体(1.91cm/d)和宝兴鸭茅(2.34 cm/d)。概述了“黔草4号鸭茅”的育种目标、选育过程、产量表现、特征特性、栽培技术要点及适宜种植区域,为该品种的开发利用提供依据。

The breeding objectives, breeding process, yield performance, characteristic characteristics, cultivation techniques and suitable planting areas of “Qiancao No. 4” were summarized, which provided the basis for the development and utilization of this variety.
