当前教育存在的一个普遍发展趋势是教师越来越关注学生的学习情感体验,越来越提倡培养学生的自主学习能力。然而就这两个要求而言,运用传统“照本宣科”的英语教学方法显然是不行的。而情境导入教学法讲究的是通过创设一定的学习情境吸引学生,激发学生兴趣,让学生在这种情境下感受英语的魅力,产生学习英语的主观要求,从而提高英语学习能力。这个特点使得情境导入教学法与教育发展的新要求不谋而合。
A common trend in current education is that teachers pay more and more attention to students ’learning emotion experience and more and more advocate students’ self-learning ability. However, as far as these two requirements are concerned, it is obviously impossible to use the traditional English teaching method of “scripting”. The situation-oriented teaching method is to create a certain learning situation to attract students, stimulate student interest, so that students feel in this context the charm of English, resulting in the subjective requirements of learning English, thereby enhancing English learning ability. This feature allows situations to be introduced into pedagogies and coincide with the new requirements of education.
