具有良好的身体素质是维持健康的基础,也是增强体质、促进健康的重要条件。一个人,无论有着多么高深的学问和高尚的品德,若没有一个健康的身体,就难以为我国社会主义现代化建设做出贡献。高等院校是培养大学生人才的基地,如何有效利用体育教育资源、促进大学生身体素质持续健康的发展与提高已成为我们当前面临的重要课题。文章主要就新时期提高大学生身体素质的意义进行分析,在此基础上,提出改善与提高大学生身体素质的策略。

Colleges and universities are the bases for cultivating university students.
