《发达资本主义时代的抒情诗人》是本雅明通过波德莱尔对现代性观察和研究的成果。诗人田园式的抒情已存在危机,抒情诗描述的对象转向人群,诗人作为人群中的人,使自己无所事事,同时又对人群进行追踪和描述。抒情诗是诗歌的规范,诗人的抒情方式关系到诗人的身份确立;诗人的抒情对象——人群,同时也存在着身份确立的问题。社会的生产方式影响着人们的反应机制,在现代性中无论是诗人还是人群都存在主体性的丧失,本雅明通过波德莱尔的阶级属性来确立诗人的身份,通过社会的生产关系来确立大众的身份。
“The Lyric Poets in the Age of Developed Capitalism” is the result of Benjamin’s observation and study of modernity through Baudelaire. The idyllic lyricism of the poets already exists the crisis. The objects described by the lyrics turn to the crowd. The poets, as people in the crowd, make themselves idle while tracking and describing the crowd. Lyric poetry is the norm of poetry. The lyrical way of the poet relates to the establishment of the poet’s identity. The lyric object of the poet - the crowd, but also the problem of identity establishment. Social mode of production affects people’s reaction mechanism. In modernity, both the poets and the people have the loss of subjectivity. Benjamin establishes the poet’s identity through Baudelaire’s class attribute and establishes it through the social relations of production Public identity.
