△ Construction of a new fly ash treatment plant in the United Kingdom in the United Kingdom A fly ash treatment plant is being built near the Aberthaw power plant in South Wales and is expected to be completed in 1993. The plant uses patented technology based on flotation and powder from the Aberthaw power plant. Carbon and hollow microspheres are selected from coal ash (containing 10 to 15% of carbon). The former is used as a fuel for the power plant and the latter is intended to be an insulating material. Treated powder
